You know, I like soft edges and faded shadows. I prefer dull and muted colors to bright ones. One look through my gallery could tell you that. I'm not big on defined outlines or sharp black shadows. I like the almost watercolor look that I use, and I use it on purpose.

So it's really irritating when I get three comments in a row telling me that my artwork is 'blurry' or needs to be sharpened up.

No. No, it doesn't. It doesn't because I intended it to look that way. If I wanted something sharp, I would draw something sharp. But I don't like sharp. I like soft. One thing that I consider a bit of my own personal style is that my artwork is almost always very soft.

In short: For the love of all that is holy, stop fucking telling me that my work needs to be sharpened up!
